About the Deepings Business Community
We are friendly and informal non-profit making organisation focussed on supporting local business growth, helping to sustain a thriving community.
This section of the website is for people who run their own business, or who manage a business. Whether large, medium or small, businesses that qualify operate in the Deepings Business Community catchment area – including Market Deeping, and the villages of Deeping St James, Deeping St Nicholas, Deeping Gate, West Deeping, Langtoft, Greatford, Baston, Maxey, Northborough, Glinton and Peakirk.
We recognise that all businesses vary – offering different services and products, to different markets, within the local community, across the UK – and in some cases – the world. However, what brings us together is an understanding of what it means to be in business and how we all have something to give – and receive – that could benefit us all in many different ways.
This is a place where you can connect with local business representatives to socialise, share ideas, offer services and keep abreast of information that could influence how you run your business. Here you’ll find a summary of the latest business news, such as grant offerings, new office developments or industrial space in the Deepings area.
Deepings Business Community and it’s members
Members of the Deeping Business Community come from across all business sectors and range from sole traders to large local employers.
We are friendly, informal and focused on supporting local business growth, helping to sustain a thriving community. Members of the Committee lobby on behalf of local business and community interests.
As a non-profit making organisation, the Community uses every opportunity to support local causes. Membership costs as little as £45 a year, which entitles you to attend monthly meetings where you can meet with like-minded people and expand your local business network.
The Deepings Business Community is open to and provides facilities for all businesses locally. For members we provide a space (virtual and physical) to connect, socialise, share ideas and information that can benefit you in your daily business life.
From tradespeople and estate agents, shop, pub and restaurant owners to accountants, will writers, IT experts and fitness gurus – and local manufacturers who supply to a global market – we all have something to offer – we all have something to gain.
We’d love to welcome you at one of our regular business meetups on the first Tuesday of every month at the Deepings Sports & Social Club. This is where you will have ample opportunity to network with members and other visitors, introduce yourself, tell us about your business – and hear invited experts as well as some of our members impart invaluable information during our popular presentation spotlight sessions.
The Deepings Business Community is run and administered by a team of volunteer businessmen and women who make up a full committee of seven. An AGM is held every year in October to vote in new Committee members and set goals for the coming year.
