Meet the Team & Members
Deepings Business Community is led by an active committee of volunteer members who are involved in running the club for members. They organise monthly meetings and social events, liaise with local government bodies – such as InvestSK – and keep us abreast of new developments that might affect our businesses.
At the end of 2019, the committee successfully applied to set up a Community Fund. This fund will directly benefit community groups who need support in the future.
The committee organises the annual Deepings Business Awards, where local businesses are recognised for outstanding service and engages members in the delivery of projects that have a positive impact on our local society, such as the popular Love Deepings campaign.
The Committee
The newly formed Deepings Business Community, for the moment inherits the constitution of it’s predecessor the Deepings Business Club and thus can have up to 8 Committee members. These are all unpaid volunteers who are elected each year at the Annual General Meeting by the paid up (Gold or Platinum) members.
